Marriage Card Game: A Tricky Rummy Variant

Marriage Card Game, developed by Yarsa Labs, is a popular rummy card game played with 3 decks of cards. The game is designed for 2 to 5 players, with each player receiving 21 cards. The objective of the game is to arrange sequences, sets, and triplets to form winning combinations.

Marriage Card Game offers three different variants of gameplay, each with slight variations. The rules closely resemble those of traditional rummy games, with the main difference being the way the joker cards (maal) are revealed. The joker cards can only be identified once the first set of cards has been submitted.

Playing the game is relatively simple. In the first half, players have the option to show three sets or seven Dublees (pairs of twin cards). The choice between the two options depends on the number of players. After revealing their cards in the first round, players can determine the joker card.

The second half of the game depends on the cards shown in the first half. If seven Dublees were shown, players need one more Dublee card to declare the game. If three sets were shown, players must arrange their 12 cards into three sets using the joker cards. Once four sets are ready, the game can be declared.

Unlike the Indian rummy variant, the person who declares the game does not necessarily win. The game calculates points for each player based on the value of Maal (joker) held and the number and values of unarranged cards in hand. This scoring system can be challenging for beginners.

Marriage Card Game is still in development, and the developers are actively seeking feedback from players who are familiar with the real-world version of the game. Players are encouraged to provide input on how the game can better meet their expectations.
